Three of four suspects were charged Monday with robbing a man at gunpoint in a Brentwood home.
Charged with first-degree burglary, three counts of armed criminal action, and two counts of first-degree robbery were:
- Justin Rush, 23, of the first block of Plaza Square in St. Louis;
- Trevon Adams, 20, of the 3800 block of Ashland in St. Louis;
- Ronald Forture, 21, of the 1400 block of Burd Avenue in St. Louis.
said four men entered a home in the 9400 block of Parkside Drive in Brentwood at about 8:40 a.m. Sunday. Police said Rush had a handgun.
A victim told police that Rush pointed the handgun at him and pulled the trigger, and the victim heard a click. The gun did not fire.
Police said the four men took the man’s wallet with $700 cash and credit cards, a cell phone and a laptop computer. The four men then left and were pursued by police.
Two of the suspects were intended to photograph wildlife.
They were caught and are being held in St. Louis County Jail. Rush is held in lieu of a $100,000 cash bond. Adams and Forture each are being held in lieu of a $75,000 cash bond.
