Multiple Windows Shattered by BB Guns, Maplewood and Richmond Heights Police Say

Police in both cities report car windows damaged by BB guns, and ask for any information that could lead to an arrest.

The police departments in both Maplewood and Richmond Heights have recently reported windows being damaged by a BB gun.

In Maplewood, police reported a vehicle window shattered by a shot from a BB gun on Jan. 25 in the 7500 block of West Bruno Avenue. Multiple vehicle windows were damaged the same way in the evening of Jan. 20 in the 2500 block of Valley Avenue. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call Maplewood police at 314-645-3000 or the anonymous tip line at 314-781-3733.

In Richmond Heights, there have been numerous incidents of car and house windows being damaged by BB guns, police report. The damage has been mostly in Council Districts 1 & 2 (see map). Richmond Heights police ask that anyone who sees anything suspicious, to please call 911 immediately.  Anyone with information that may help in this investigation please call the non emergency line at 645-3000.
