Amended Sunquad Plat Includes Closer Parking for MetroLink Users
The plat creates three new plots for parking and other MetroLink support.
An ordinance for a minor subdivision plat, to become part of the Sunquad Maplewood Subdivision, was approved by Maplewood City Council at the April 10 meeting.
The plat was proposed to create three new lots that will provide additional and more convenient parking and support to the , and other buildings around the area, according to a city memo.
Lot 1 will support the existing MetroLink station, platform and related equipment, while Lot 2 will become an 80-space parking lot for the station, which was proposed last year. Lot 2's proximity to the station will make parking much closer for commuters and other MetroLink users.

Lot 3 will serve as additional parking for other office and warehouse buildings in the subdivision.
