City Hall Seeks Donations for Operation Food Search

The collection of non-perishable food items will run until Dec. 16.

The organization is seeking non-perishable food items, notes a Nov. 28 email newsletter sent by Rachelle L'Ecuyer, community development director of Maplewood. The city asks that you don't bring glass containers.

City officials will collect donations until Dec. 16, the email notes. The city hall lobby is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

Operation Food Search is an organization that distributes free food to those in need while also teaching about nutrition and participating in green initiatives, the website notes.

If you want to contribute but are unable to visit city hall, L'Ecuyer stated she would make alternative arrangements to assist with your donation. Her phone number is 314-646-3607.
