Filing Opens For MRH School Board

Three board seats are up for election in the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District.

Filing opened today for residents interested in running for a position on the Maplewood Richmond Heights School Board.

Three three-year terms are up for election in April. Members Stephen Findley, Maria Langston and Ben Stotler are up for reelection.

The district's central office will accept notices from interested residents between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from today until Tuesday, Jan. 18. The office will be closed on Dec. 23-24, Dec. 30-31, and Jan. 17. Candidates must bring a 200-word biographical summary and photograph. Additionally, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • U.S. citizen
  • Resident taxpayer of the school district
  • Missouri resident for at least one year preceding the election
  • At least 24 years old

The date of the municipal election is slated for April 5.
