Maplewood City Council to Consider Park, Manchester Road Improvements

It should be a quick meeting for the Maplewood City Council Tuesday night—only two resolutions and one ordinance on the agenda. See the complete agenda on the Maplewood city website.

  • A resolution authorizing the city manager to submit a joint park grant application with the City of Richmond Heights and sign all documents necessary for a grant from the Municipal Parks Grant Commission of St. Louis County for improvements to Kellogg Park. A bathroom, pavilion, baseball backstop and field irrigation are included in the improvements.
  • A resolution authorizing the city manager to accept a proposal to provide right of way consulting services for the Manchester Road Phase 3 Improvement Project. Phase 3 is the final phase of the Manchester Road improvement project. Construction is due to begin in 2014 for curbs, gutters, sidewalks and a wider roadway from Bredell Avenue to Hanley Road.
  • An Ordinance authorizing the issuance of Tax Increment Revenue Bonds (Deer Creek Redevelopment Project) Series 2013A and Taxable Community Improvement District Sales Tax Revenue Bonds (Deer Creek Redevelopment Project) Series 2013B of the City of Maplewood, Missouri; authorizing and approving a trust indenture, official statements, a tax compliance agreement, a purchase contract and a continuing disclosure agreement; and authorizing certain other actions in connection with the execution and delivery of the bonds.
