Maplewood Council: QuikTrip, Sandwich Shop, up for Final Votes

The Maplewood City Council will conduct the following business at its meeting on Nov. 27.

• Public hearing for citizens' comments on a request for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a restaurant facility and wholesale sushi shop at 7519 Flora Ave./3001 S. Big Bend Blvd.

• A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Maplewood, Missouri honoring and commending John Patterson on the occasion of his retirement after 34 1⁄2 years of service with the Maplewood Fire Department.

• Bill 5878. An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Maplewood, Missouri authorizing a Planned Unit Development District and approving a Preliminary Development Plan and Preliminary Subdivision Plat for approximately 1.29 acres of land bounded on the north by 2633 Big Bend Boulevard, on the west by Martini Drive, on the south by Manchester Road and on the east by Big Bend Boulevard.

The Maplewood Richmond Heights School Board has written a letter to Mayor Jim White, describing things they would like at the intersection for student safety. The letter is included as a PDF.

• Bill 5888. An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Maplewood, Missouri granting a Conditional Use Permit to Solomon Teshale of 7-Eleven located at 2425 S. Big Bend Blvd. to remain open 24- hours a day.

• Bill 5889. An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Maplewood, Missouri granting a Conditional Use Permit to Xiaohong Li and Alex Zixing Liu to operate a sandwich restaurant facility and wholesale sushi shop at 7519 Flora Avenue/3001 S. Big Bend Blvd.
