QuikTrip, Food Trucks Could Pass at Tonight's Maplewood Council

Both issues are on the agenda, and down to a final vote.

Maplewood City Council meets tonight and may make the final vote on two ordinances in the news.

One of those issues, allowing food trucks, has been supported by some residents and condemned by the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce. Restaurant chamber members have said food trucks would hurt their business.

The other issue that's down to the final vote is allowing QuikTrip to move from its present spot on South Big Bend to the northwest corner of Big Bend and Manchester Road. It faced a final vote at the last meeting but was tabled to allow some compromises between the city and the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District.
