State Auditors Heard Brentwood's Progress on Monday

The meeting with the city is open to the public.

Following the state audit of Brentwood, in which State Auditor Tom Schweich gave the city the lowest rating, the city was given 90 days to work on the deficiencies.

On Monday at 10 a.m. the state auditor’s office met with city staff at City Hall, according to an email from Ward 1 Alderwoman Maureen Saunders to her constituents. The meeting was not announced on the city website.

Saunders asked that the meeting be recorded and posted on the city website because it could have been difficult to attend for many.
