Superintendent Search on Brentwood School Board Agenda

The school board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.

The Brentwood Board of Education is set to discuss the search process to find a replacement for Superintendent Dr. Charles Penberthy, who in mid-August. He has been the district’s superintendent since 2003, and will retire at the end of this school year.

The school board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night in the .

In addition to the superintendent search, the school board is scheduled to review the following district policies:

  • Sick leave pool
  • Professional staff short-term leaves and absences
  • Support staff positions
  • Support staff leaves and absences
  • Support staff sick leave bank
  • Curriculum development

Two closed sessions to discuss legal and personnel issues have also been scheduled. One is scheduled before the open meeting, and another is scheduled to follow.
