Who is the New Brentwood City Administrator?

So just who is this mystery man that ? 

Kelly is making us wait until the next Board of Alderman meeting on June 20 to find out the name of Brentwood’s new city administrator. The guy accepted a job offer from the city a week ago, but he won't go public until the ordinance for the contract is approved.

Journalists that we are, we are not patient people. This is a done deal. Let's figure out who he is!

We have a couple clues. Here’s what we know from Kelly: 

• He holds another position in St. Louis County and works for another city.
• “Is strong in budgeting.”  (Maybe a department head someplace?)
• He “can hit the ground running.” (Translation? He’s experienced.)
• He is not originally from St. Louis.

A Patch reporter — yours truly — saw the man-in-question briefly in the hallway of on June 2. Here’s what I remember. The new administrator-to-be is:

• Middle-aged
• Trim build
• Gray hair
• Tall; about 6’ to 6’2”
• Has glasses (I think he held them.)
