This Week In Real Estate - July 2nd Edition

This week in Real Estate showed an easing in the rise of interest rates. In the past few weeks we seen them jump up almost a full point and that trend stalled this week. This rise in interest rates can be a double edged sword. It shows that more buyers are in the market, and our economy is growing; however this jump could slow down the upward trajectory of our mini housing boom.

For the last seven days I have set out to inform you of the markets movement in our community. The numbers provided this week are from 6.25.13 through 7.02.13.

For Maplewood this past week:

- 3 new listing

- 1 price improvement

- 0 homes failed to sell and were taken off the market
The price points ranged from $79,000 to $170,000

For Richmond Heights this past week:
- 3 homes closed
- 3 went under contract
- 4 new listing

- 1 price improvements

- 1 homes failed to sell and were taken off the market
The price points ranged from $139,900 to $1,030,000

For Brentwood this past week:
- 12 homes closed
- 3 went under contract
- 6 new listing
- 0 homes failed to sell and were taken off the market
The price points ranged from $106,500 to $430,750
