Applicants Sought for MRH School Board Vacancy

Applications will be accepted through May 6.

Applicants are being sought to fill a vacancy on the Maplewood Richmond Heights Board of Education, a news release states.

The selected applicant would serve on the board until April 2012, the release from the MRH School District states. He or she would have the opportunity to seek election at that time for the remaining two years of the term.

The vacancy exists following the in March. Hogue was to become a member of the board along with .

To be eligible for the seat, applicants must be:

  • a U.S. citizen
  • at least 24 years old
  • a resident taxpayer in the school district. He or she must have been a resident taxpayer for at least one year before the vacancy is filled.

Those interested in applying may submit a letter of interest to the board's secretary no later than 4:30 p.m. on May 6. The MRH School District office, 7539 Manchester Rd. in Maplewood, is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
