“They've improved a ton,” said first-year coach Janie Schneider. “I’m excited for the tournament next week. I think we even have a chance that we could even win.”

Schneider played field hockey for Brentwood. She's a 2005 BHS graduate.

Ladue coach Barb Dwyer had good things to say about the Eagles, but not their home field.

“Brentwood has improved a lot,” she said. “This field–I don’t know how they play on it. It’s horrible, but despite that, they’re really coming along, and they’re just an enjoyable team to play.”
