Brentwood Senior is a National Merit Semifinalist

He's one of approximately 16,000 students nationwide.

Brentwood senior Jack Wright found out in September that he is a Semifinalist for a National Merit® Scholarship.

Wright is one of about 16,000 students nationwide, or approximately one-third of the 50,000 high scorers who took the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

To ensure that academically talented students from all parts of the United States are included, Semifinalists are named on a state representational basis.
