volleyball played its home opener on Wednesday, defeating Jennings 25-15, 25-15.
Coach Whitney Ralph said it was a good win, especially after a tough loss to Affton on Tuesday. She said they lost in three games.

"We were a lot better at communicating with each other, both in cheering, as well as calling balls," she said. "We’re also missing some girls, so we had some girls in new positions today, so that was interesting, but they handled it really well."
The Eagles play next week at Bayless on Tuesday, at Clayton on Wednesday, then on Friday they host MRH for the first of two Brentwood- regular-season matches.
