SLOWednesday - 2013 CSAs

Slow Food St. Louis and the Schlafly Bottleworks present SLOWednesday after the Schlafly Farmers Market. Each month a different farmer from the market will speak about their farm, giving you the opportunity to get to know your food.

On October 10, SLOWednesday will feature two farms from Illinois that have community-supported agriculture subscriptions (CSAs) available for the 2013 season – Frontwards Farm and Riverbend Roots Farm.

Established in 2005, Frontwards Farm is a sustainable, 5-acre family farm in Makanda, IL. Sarah and Jason offer a diverse selection of fruit, vegetables, herbs, poultry and eggs for CSA members in southern Illinois and the St. Louis area.
