Jason Adams Named MRH Elementary Principal; Michael Dittrich Joins MRH Middle

The administrators will begin their new roles in the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District on July 1.

Two new administrators will provide leadership at Maplewood Richmond Heights elementary and middle schools starting July 1, the announced late Tuesday morning.

Jason Adams will become principal at , while Michael Dittrich will become assistant principal at .

“We are delighted to have both Jason and Mike join our MRH family,” stated Dr. Linda Henke, the district's superintendent, in a news release. “Both are wonderful additions for our district and we have the utmost confidence in their commitment to our students our mission.”

Adams previously served as assistant principal of Ross Elementary School in the Parkway School District and as a teacher at Tillman Elementary School in the Kirkwood School District.

He will graduate with his doctorate from Maryville University in December and also holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in elementary education and a master's in educational leadership and administration from that institution.

Adams , who is leaving to work in the Webster Groves School District.

Dittrich had served since 2002 as assistant principal at Hancock Elementary School in the Hancock Place School District and has also worked as a teacher in that district. He holds a bachelor's from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's in educational administration from Lindenwood University.

The two were chosen after an extensive search that included parents, teachers and administrators, the release states.

Jason is very talented and has a great reputation in Parkway and Kirkwood. I'm looking forward to seeing what he will do with a wonderful school like MRH.
