This is awesome! More information, please ... What is the 'Missouri Leadership Award'? How many students receive this, and what things qualify a student to be competitive for it? There are several types - which one did she receive? http://www.semo.edu/leadership/awards/index.htm Congrats to Kaitlyn Bright!

Great questions, Victoria! Also, where is she going to college next year? Has an MRH student ever won this before?

Her award is the Missouri Leadership Award and it's given to HS students to go to Southeast Missouri State University who have been active in three activities for three years. The idea is community involvement. The award is $500 to $1,000 and is renewable, if she maintains a 3.25 GPA.

You should list more students with other Scholarships. My daughter Krystal Peterson has been offered several, three of them to UMR- S&T/ Rolla. Would love to hear of the others. Congrats to all. - Cyndy Peterson

Great idea, Cynthia. Sometimes, if a notice comes to us, we use it. I'll reach out to the schools for others.
