MRH Dancer to Perform in Competition
A Maplewood Richmond Heights student is competing in the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition.
Brianna Jones, a senior, will compete in the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition to earn thousands of dollars in scholarships.
Jones, a dancer, has signed up to be part of the 119 acts in the competition. The preliminary rounds on March 10 and 11 will narrow the field down to 30 acts. The final 12 will perform at The Fabulous Fox Theater on April 27.
The first, second and third place winners earn $7,000, $5,000 or $3,000 in scholarships, respectively. Other universities and organizations, such as Lindenwood University or The Muny, are also offering scholarships and prizes.
