MRH Football Breaks MSHSAA Rule, Penalty Could Result

Maplewood Richmond Heights played a one-on-one jamboree in the preseason. The rule is there must be more than two teams.

The football team hosted Carnahan in a preseason jamboree, but a third team wasn't there, which made it an illegal jamboree by MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association) rules.

The infraction was self-reported, and there could be a penalty, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Will there be an update on this story? What was the MSHSAA decision?

I'm checking it out, Ed. MSHSAA may have just ruled on it yesterday.

No punitive actions sanctioned by MSHSAA.
