MRH Coach Frazier's Ejection Remains a Mystery

Eyewitnesses at the MRH-Valley Park game said the referee yelled at Frazier, and Frazier had no reply.

boys basketball coach Corey Frazier didn’t witness one of his team’s big wins of the season because he had been ejected the game before. Per MSHSAA rules, he had to miss the following game.

The Blue Devils beat 47-41 on Saturday, the game where Caleb . It was in a game the day before, against Valley Park, that Frazier was ejected. Why he was ejected seems to be a mystery.

In a St. Louis Post Dispatch article, eyewitnesses at the game are quoted as saying the official who ejected Frazier stood over him and yelled at him.

Frazier took to Twitter following the game that night.

“Never been so miss treated before in my life. Smh... Devil is busy tonight. Thank God I'm a Christian,” Frazier tweeted.

The next day Frazier tweeted that he did nothing to provoke the ejection.

“I was tossed in the first period for not engaging in a conversation with a ref, sad,” Frazier tweeted. “Next time I should at least say a word. I got tossed for ignoring him.”

Before the Whitfield game, Frazier tweeted, “Sitn out todays game for someones personal agenda. It's cool. That's why I have good assistants and good players. Show will proceed.”

MRH and Whitfield could meet again. Both are Class 3, but in different districts. It would be on March 7, when the District 5 champ meets the District 6 champ.
