Maplewood Richmond Heights runners coach and head girls track coach Cheryl Carmon talks about the team's training and a big home meet.
Cheryl Carmon, Maplewood Richmond Heights runners coach and head girls coach, said the team has been out on the track most of the spring, even in snow.
MRH has a good thrower (shot put and discus) in senior Britney Bell, who won both events at the Washington University meet recently, against Class 3 and 4 teams.
On Tuesday MRH is hosting a big invitational meet and Carmon said they're excited to see Brentwood freshman Sophia Rivera give Bell a run for her money.
