Welcome Back, Brentwood Students

Tuesday marks the first day of the academic year for Brentwood schools.

It's finally August 16, which means summer is over for Brentwood schools and students will return to their classes.

A lot has happened since last summer:

As noted in a letter from Superintendent Dr. Charles Penberthy to parents, the following teachers started with the school district this year:

  • Victoria Anton-Brown (Mark Twain secretary)
  • Kimberly Beelman (McGrath fifth-grade teacher)
  • Jean Burlemann (Early Childhood Center nurse and receptionist)
  • Rebecca Buss (Mark Twain fifth-grade teacher)
  • Rachel Beard-Curran (Early Childhood Center teacher aide)
  • Luis Garcia (High School spanish teacher)
  • (Mark Twain fifth-grade teacher)
  • Alyssa Kernen (Middle School Spanish and math teacher)
  • James Maddock (Collaborative School teacher aide)
  • (Mark Twain counselor)
  • Erin Parmley (McGrath first-grade teacher)
  • (Director of Accounting)
  • Jennifer Todd (High School counselor)
