Football: Brentwood, MRH Continue Opposite Streaks

Maplewood Richmond Heights and Brentwood football both continued streaks Friday night, which is great for Brentwood, and not at all, for MRH.

The Eagles scored 11 touchdowns, beating Cleveland in Brentwood 76-33. The win extended Brentwood’s record to 4-0. Junior, Jake Zivic scored six times; the longest, from scrimmage, was on a 60-yard run, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Post-Dispatch reports that MRH lost to Park Hills 39-6 in Maplewood, extending the Blue Devils’ already rough season to 0-4. An 81-yard punt return from junior, Reggie Gwynn was the only MRH score of the night.
