2011 World Series Cardinals hero David Freese shook hands, smiled for photos and signed his name hundreds of times at the Brentwood AT&T store on Saturday.
Fans lined up through the parking lot and down the street to meet him.
They mostly mentioned game six when asked why they were there. Freese hit an 11th inning walk-off home run in game six of the 2011 series that sent the Cardinals to game seven and eventually win the World Series.
