Brentwood Holiday Home Decorating Winners: 2012

Neighborly competition brings out the brightest-lights, that is- in Brentwood.

Brentwood is always beautiful at this time of year. The City of Brentwood and the residents invest time and effort in cultivating a truly festive spirit for the holidays. Decorated Christmas trees, business buildings and houses can be seen up and down every street, bringing joy to the inner-child in all of us.

Since 1995, the Parks & Recreation Department has encouraged friendly competition between decorators. The Holiday Home Decorating Contest has been a fun way to get the community out looking at their neighbor’s light displays while giving us the opportunity to say “thanks” to those who invite us to judge the artistry of lighting. One winner is chosen in each ward to receive recognition on our plaque on the Recreation Lobby wall.

This year’s winners are:

Ward 1-

The Kintz Family       28 Sussex

Ward 2-

The Kopatich Family  2029 Urban Drive

Ward 3-

The Stupp Family     2429 High School Drive

 Ward 4-

The Harding Family  1464 High School Drive

Thanks to all who participated. We hope to see many more houses enter next year. It’s free. It’s fun. It’s all about community and Brentwood is a great community.

Don’t forget to view the pictures!

Where are the winners for Maplewood. I used to live in Maplewood and would like to see the winners in here as well as Brentwood.
