Paul Zarky - A St. Louis Soccer Treasure

When you think Soccer in St. Louis, be sure to remember Paul Zarky.

As St. Louis sports supporters, we are all pleased to be affiliated with Coach Paul Zarky Metro Strikers Soccer programs. He is a great teacher, a great motivator and a man of amazing patience. If you love soccer, his programs are a great place to train.

Brentwood Parks & Recreation has partnered with Paul Zarky and the Metro Strikers to offer soccer training to our youth in the Spring, Summer and Fall for 6 years. We are truly fortunate to have this former professional soccer player and collegiate All-American working with our soccer programs.

Coach Zarky played for the St. Louis Ambush (indoor) and the St. Louis Knights (outdoor), as well as for the Kansas City Attack, Sacramento Knights, and trained with the Detroit Rockers. His experience has given him a great outlook on the sport of soccer. He develops programs that encourage and challenge young players to enjoy soccer through the use of fun small sided games, as well as "the big game". Watching a group of children in his class will make you smile!

Training has a quality of its own for each level of players. For younger players, there are breaks in the action for instruction while learning the major points of the game through play.  Sometimes there are even treats! For older players, Coach Zarky and his staff are careful to know what will motivate each player. For advanced players, skills training and drills hone them to their best edge.

Parents and supporters can trust the quality of coaching, as well as the integrity of a class or camp with Coach Paul Zarky and the Metro Strikers Soccer Club. You can trust this, if you love soccer, whether beginner of select, his programs are a great place to train.*
