5 years ago, I purchased a house through Barb Summers Real Estate and worked directly with Kay Basta as my agent. I found her to be professional, knowledgeable and very accomodating. We referred our daughter and son in law to Kay and she helped them buy their first home. They were very satisfied with Kay and her associates. Barb Summers Real Estate, owned by Kay Basta, is an outstanding company with strong Maplewood roots. They generously support local causes by giving financially and of their time. Kay and her team have always treated me like family!
This company is very subpar. The agents don't even return your calls. They make you call them back. I can guarantee that you do not want to deal with this rental or real estate company. Their properties are vastly overpriced, and things are not fixed in a timely manner. I give this business ZERO stars. If you tell the owner, Kay Basta, about the lack of responsibility her agents have, she gets very defensive and starts yelling at you about how her company is SO GREAT. Seriously, never do business with these slum lords.
