Elan Polo is a private label shoe importer with its own brands, which include L.B. Evans and Daniel Green slippers, and several licensed brands, including Mitre and Easton athletic shoes, Woolrich footwear, Rocket Dogs and even little doll shoes especially made for the St. Louis based Build-A-Bear brand. The company was started more than 30 years ago and is employee owned.
Its headquarters used to be based in Brentwood, but is now located farther north in the Overland neighborhood.
