Located next to Autohaus off Brentwood, just south of Manchester, Lay Renewal Ministries sponsors a new and used bookstore specializing in Christian literature. Upon entering, it's somewhat surprising just how much larger the place is on the inside than it looks from the parking lot. Room after room, shelf after shelf, the place is teeming with well-kept books and other media. On offer is a wide variety of material, from annotated scriptures to children's picture books to DVD series and manuals on Apologetics. The atmosphere is peaceful, with unobtrusive lighting and wide aisles that give customers plenty of room to browse. The friendly sales staff is there to help but won't say a word if visitors simply want to take their time perusing the selection.
