Let me start by saying: I've moved around a lot and have had a hard time finding a place that I could call home. However, I can’t say that about Maplewood Village Apartments. MVA, was the first place I could call home in a long time. The location was perfect. Everything was a walk or bike ride away; and if you wanted to drive, then everything was probably a 15-20 minute drive. Also, you can’t go without saying the cost of the apartments were incredibly reasonable. For the accommodation management gave you, the cost was nothing. The community is very quiet and family oriented. It is a perfect location for a family, student, or an artist that needs some quiet time to work. Lastly, and most important, management was top-notch. If I ever needed anything done to my apartment I could call and be assured that the grounds keeper would be there within the day, with a courteous attitude and willing to help. Tammy, was a great landlord; one could not ask for better. As long as you do your role as a tenant you can be sure that Tammy will make sure you’re very comfortable. My time that was one of the greatest experiences I’ve had with an apartment complex. I will always still consider MVA family.

One of the better places to live in Maplewood. The management has always worked to help with any issues that come up. Some aren't happy but one would have to ask Why?
Any and all issues have been taken care of in a reasonable time. The office/maint. staff do everything they can to make sure your needs are met.
My stay here has been better than average. I do pay my rent on time and don't cause problems.
I would recommend Maplewood Village Apts. to my friends...
Been here for the past 2 years... 1st as a student at SLU (very close) and now working close by as well. The previous comment about police... where are there NOT police all the time here in Maplewood hehe but things have gotten a lot better around here! I think the area has grown quite a bit. I personally think Tammy and Keith are some of the best managers I've had to work with. Great location and quiet atleast in my building! (the first when turning down onto Anna). Upon move in they've redone and subsequantly cleaned my carpets, painted my walls a neat beige color (usually are white) and put in a ceiling fan. Not sure if they do that with everyone, but I've had a good relationship with Tammy and Keith and I think that helps with them willing to be so generous!
I've been here for about 3 years now, and every year it seems like things get better. Not only is Maplewood becoming the place to be and be seen, the area seems to have cleaned itself up quite a bit!! These apartments are good size for 1-2 people, but definitely not more than that... Any time I've had a problem, the manager Tammy and the maintenance guy Marty have been great and super fast so I want to thank them for that. Lots of new young residents that go to SLU and some of the surrounding universities/colleges which makes for a good mix of people. I've already graduated but I don't want to leave yet!! Definitely a fan of Maplewood and these are prob. the best pick as far as apartments in the area.
Trashy Apartment complex!!! A lot of drugies live here, Tammy Brown and Keith are one of the worst managers I've ever dealt with in my life! The police is here like everyday and the aparments are not kept up to standards and are in very bad physical condition. Walls are very very thin you can hear your next door neighboor on the phone. No central air and it gets very hot in the living room in the summer time. 2 out of 10 stars. Look at some other places if you are thinking about moving here.

I agree with Toni... as long as you pay your rent on time and behave, theres nothing to complain about... I would recommend to friends too
