Sherwood Forest Camp is an independent, not-for-profit agency that creates healthy, caring communities where children develop character and competence. The campers are taught aspects of life like respect, working together, talking out problems, personal responsibility and serving others. The programs include a mini camp for first-time campers, a boys' and girls' camp, leadership and outdoor education programs.
The camp is in Lesterville, Mo on 487 acres of Ozark forest land formerly known as the Wiggins Ozark Camp. The main office is located in Maplewood. You can find parking in the back by turning on to Marietta Avenue. The camp is open seasonally, while the office is open year round.
