Thanks Doug, it's not very often that we see many stories about Brentwood football in theRead More Maplewood-Brentwood patch. I hope that both schools continue their winning ways next week.

MRH football Coaches is the WORSE I've seen in All of High School History.....Just Pathetic to watchRead More them coach......I'm just saying.....

Simmer down Ann. Women are becoming wimps. Don't they have pockets for their personal stuff. IRead More was really disappointed in the expose' on Channel 5. Lisa Ziegman didn't do herself and her credibility any favors by taking this on. Just a bunch of fluff.
Jean August 21, 2013 at 01:52 pm
Why do we have so many whiners about everything. Why do women think they have to carry the kitchenRead More sink with them to a football game. Ann Wagner, I didn't vote for you before, and petty stuff like this can add to the reasons why.
David Smith August 21, 2013 at 07:40 pm
Geez what a bunch of crybabies. Personally I don't want to wait in a mile long line as they checkRead More every bag going into the stadium. How much do you need to carry in to begin with? Moreover, a lot of you need to understand Constitutional protections don't apply to private property.

Yeah Meredith! Congratulations. And let us know if you qualify for San Francisco.

Rich Nixon coaches the Blue Devils against MICDS.
Josh July 9, 2013 at 10:53 pm
Doug, I'm a big fan of Patch and the coverage you provide, but your headline is a bit harsh, andRead More leaves the reader to believe the coach was fired and replaced for some reason. Maybe Mr. Nixon didn't want to renew his "extra duty" contract since he is already an athletic director? The facts presented in the article simply don't warrant that type of headline. A better headline would have been "JC Kime Takes Over as MRH Head Football Coach". Also...congrats and good luck coach Kime!
Ed July 10, 2013 at 11:06 pm
C'mon Josh... There is no crying in football!! If a school administrator and/or HS football coachRead More doesn't have thick enough skin to brush off something that is "a little harsh", then he's probably in the wrong job.

I was there to meet Freese for a first time, and I would love to meet him again to talk to him andRead More take pictures with him even arriving early to to be one of the first few people in line.

I am very proud of my young men, they have battled through adversity and have overcame. Lawrence youRead More are the man, you will be missed as a team leader and competitor. Also very proud of Britney Bell, only got to work with you one year, but you have a long career ahead of you in throwing. Lastly congratulations go out to Miss Rivera, it is very difficult to win both throwing events but to do it is amazing as a Freshman. You did it with poise and class, good job young lady! J.C.
