Brighton Agency's Pics of the Litter campaign website launched this week in an effort to spotlight pups who are available for adoption at the Animal Protective Association of Missouri.
A Clayton company's website aimed at generating interest in 10 St. Louis dogs up for adoption launched earlier this week. Brighton Agency organized its Pics of the Litter campaign in conjunction with Brentwood-based Animal Protective Association of Missouri. A recent photo shoot paired the pups with professional photographer Lynn Terry. Website visitors are encouraged to adopt a shelter pet, share the photos with friends, and support the APA through donations of money or supplies, a news release from Brighton states. A few of the featured dogs may be seen here. Go to the Pics of the Litter website to view all 10 photos and learn more about the project.

The Pics of the Litter campaign will promote pets available for adoption at the APA of Missouri in Brentwood.
Ten adoption-eligible dogs got pampered and photographed in style last week as part of a collaboration between Clayton's Brighton Agency and the Brentwood-based Animal Protective Association of Missouri. The goal of the campaign—titled Pics of the Litter—is to spotlight dogs who have been at the APA since as far back as November. "There's nothing wrong with these dogs," said Becky Krueger, APA's director of education and public relations. "They're happy, they're healthy, they're friendly." Dogs such as those who are older, have darker fur or are higher-energy sometimes aren't adopted as quickly as others, she said. While the APA's website includes photos of these prospective pets, high-quality images often aren't available because of …

Spice is a 3-year-old puppy who is available for adoption at the Animal Protective Association of Missouri.
Spice is a wonderful puppy that will certainly spice up your life! She is 3 months old and is a happy, playful and silly girl. When Spice became available for adoption, the animal care staff at the APA set her up in the puppy room with the other small dogs and puppies. It didn't take her long to figure out that if she could climb over the short kennel walls, she could play with the other dogs. We watched her play with every single dog and even took a short video of her antics. Check it out! Obviously, Spice really likes other dogs. After she finishes playing, she curls up with a fellow shelter dog to take a nap. She'd be great in a home with other dogs. She also seems to love every person she meets. If you would like to meet Spice or any …
