Maplewood Police: Apple iPhone 'Held for Ransom'

A woman said her iPhone disappeared. When she called the number an unfamiliar voice gave her some bad news.

An Apple iPhone was taken from a woman in the 7300 block of Manchester Road on Friday, the Maplewood Police Department reported. The woman said she called the number when she noticed it was gone. A man answered, and demanded money to return the phone.  Police have been unable to find the suspect or the phone.

Microsoft To Challenge Apple in Galleria

The Apple competitor will open a holiday store on Oct. 26.

Microsoft will open a holiday store at the Saint Louis Galleria in the Garden Court area, near the Apple store, according to the St. Louis Business Journal. The pop-up store will open on Oct. 26. Read the full St. Louis Business Journal article.
