The Eagles scored three times—their first touchdown at the 70-second mark—in the game's opening 7:49 to quickly break open the game. The Brentwood Middle School is holding its Chili Cook-off tonight from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. The cook-off will feature 20 different chili recipes, including white chicken chili and Hot New Mexico chili. Pay $2 for a bowl or $6 for a sample of all 20. Community members and local businesses helped prepare the different recipes, Assistant Principal Eileen Roberts said. The school will sell hot dogs too. Themed baskets are available in a silent auction, as well. Homeroom students prepared the baskets to raise money for projects, parties and charities.
