Brentwood Booster Club to Support Eagles Football
The club will raise money to make sure a trainer is at every game. They'll also feed the players a meal before and after games.
At last year’s Brentwood football banquet, coach Keith Herring suggested a booster club for the team. Bill Koster, the father of sophomore player Austin Koster, said he volunteered to head up the newly-formed Brentwood Booster Club. He said the main objective of the club is to take care of the safety of the team. “Because school budgets are cutting back, there’re a lot of things out there, like having trainers at every football game, especially at away games,” he said. It's the home team's responsibility to provide a trainer, in case of injury, but it doesn't always happen, Koster said. The club also plans on providing meals for the players before and after games.
