Menards and Pace Properties have been chosen to develop two sections of the Hadley Township Redevelopment Area in Richmond Heights. City Council made the announcement during a meeting Monday at The Heights. Menards has proposed a two-story store approximately 246,000 square feet in size. In addition, the development would include roughly 400 parking spaces and allow for the presence of three or four complementary retail businesses or restaurants at the southwest and northwest corners of the site. I am excited. They have them in Indiana where I'm from. Live on the Richmond Heights/Maplewood border and quite frankly I hate shopping at the WalMart. The K Mart doesn't have what I want most of the time, and I cannot stand the traffic in the Target area. I think Menards will be a nice add.
