Police: Woman Raids Maplewood Home to Steal Safe, Jewelry, Electronics

A St. Louis woman has been charged with burglary and theft in the incident.

A woman was charged with burglarizing a Maplewood home, stealing a safe, computer, electronics and other items. Ceara N. Goudy, 21, of the 3200 block of Henrietta Avenue in South St. Louis, was charged Jan. 17 with second-degree burglary and felony theft. Maplewood Police said Goudy and another woman entered a home in the 7500 block of Comfort Avenue between 7:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9. Police said she and another woman stole a gold wedding band, two watches, two gold necklaces, a Cornwell diagnostic computer, a digital camera and a safe that contained cash and personal documents. The stolen property’s value was estimated at about $3,000, according to a police report. Police found the discarded safe in Richmond Heights with a purse …

Hi Laurie, The simplest solution would be to make an appointment at your local Apple Store. Their technical support is called the "Genius Bar" and appointments are free. If there is a repair that needs to be made, they quote it in advance. Just remember that you do need an appointment in advance. Walk-ins usually have to wait a while.   more ›

Police: Maplewood Home Burglarized by St. Louis Man

Items valued at about $3,600 were stolen from a home on Weaver Avenue, Maplewood police said.

A man was charged Thursday with burglarizing a Maplewood home and stealing items valued at about $3,600. Alexander Crockett, 22, of the 4900 block of Cote Brilliante in St. Louis, faces second-degree burglary and stealing charges. Maplewood police said Crockett and another person broke into a home in the 7600 block of Weaver Avenue on July 16. Police said they stole an Xbox game system and hard drive, bank checks, two laptop computers, cell phone, iPod, diamond ring and a pair of shoes. Bond for Crockett was set at $40,000. Former Walmart Employees Charged With Stealing Electronics

Police said electronics items were stolen over three days in November.

Four former Walmart employees were charged Thursday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with stealing. Maplewood Police said in a report that Dalvin E. Wiley, 19, Damine Thornton, 18, Miguel Allen, 23, and Christopher Smith, 21, stole electronic items from the store. Wiley and Thornton, of the 5300 block of Arsenal Street in St. Louis, face three charges of stealing. Allen, of the 4400 block of Holly in St. Louis, and Smith, of the 3800 block of Teton Creek Court in North County, both are charged with one count of stealing. Police said in the report that the four stole two Samsung LED televisions, two PlayStation 3 game systems and two Wii game systems from the Walmart at 1900 Maplewood Commons Drive about 7:15 p.m. Nov. 30.
