Police Coverage Increases With Shopping Levels

St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch asks consumers, especially shoppers, to call police immediately if they see suspicious activity.

St. Louis County Police Department officers state they will have both uniformed and undercover officers working in and around shopping centers this week and during the holiday season. The Metro Air Support Unit also will continue patrolling commercial parking lots and shopping centers, said St. Louis County Police Department spokesperson Randy Vaughn. Vaughn said St. Louis County Highway Safety Unit officers will be working additional patrols throughout the holidays, emphasizing Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) enforcement.
