A Maplewood teenager was charged Sunday with kidnapping and raping a girl under the age of 16. Timothy Gilbert, 18, of the 7300 block of Kensington Avenue, is charged with kidnapping, forcible rape, attempted forcible sodomy, sex abuse, burglary, theft and armed criminal action, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The victim a girl under age 16. Police officials are not releasing more information. Quoting from the Post story: Police said in court documents that Gilbert entered a home on Delor Street near Gustine Avenue late Dec. 14 or early Dec. 15 while the girl was sleeping and pointed a knife at her. Two men charged with murdering former St. Louis University volleyball player Megan Boken also were charged with robbing and kidnapping a woman Aug. 12 in Brentwood. Brentwood Police said Keith Esters, 18, of Bel Ridge, and Johnathan Perkins, 18, got into a woman’s car at 1657 South Brentwood Blvd., at gunpoint to drive to UMB Bank in the Promenade and withdraw cash.
