Police had a suspect two weeks ago, now it's happened again.
Maplewood Police report that the concrete fencing in Deer Creek Park has again been damaged and destroyed along the bicycle/walking path near the creek. Officers previously took a juvenile suspect into custody on June 2 after noticing damage. The most recent damage occured on June 23 in the afternoon. Police are reviewing park cameras for more information. The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department. A 41-year-old man was arrested on the charge of second degree domestic assault on Monday in the 7200 block of Anna Avenue. A disturbance was reported at the residence, and when the officers arrived they discovered a woman with injuries there. The man suspected of assaulting the woman had left, and was soon found on a nearby street. Maplewood police report that the man and woman live together. The woman was taken to a hospital for her injuries. The man suspected of assaulting her was charged through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and is in custody on a $25,000 bond.
