A couple of lovebirds from St. Louis have located the first $70,000 top prize on the Missouri Lottery “St. Louis Cardinals™” Scratchers game. Kyle Boyd of Brentwood and Heather Franz of St. Charles are engaged to be married later this fall. A shopping trip to Dierbergs, in St. Charles, resulted in the win. “Every time we go to the grocery store, we get $20 in Scratchers,” Franz said. “It’s kind of our small little thing,” Boyd said. “Whenever we go to the grocery store and stock up the pantries, we’ll just buy two $5 Scratchers for both of us.
