Buckle Store Employee Questioned in $14,000 Burglary

The Galleria store burglary occurred early on a Monday morning.

A Buckle store employee has been questioned, though not warranted, in an apparent theft of $14,000 from the store safe on Feb. 11 at about 7:20 a.m. Det. Sgt. Jerry Rohr said the Richmond Heights Police Department is calling it a burglary.  "A person entered the store during off hours, and entered the safe, and basically took the weekend’s cash receipts," he said. Rohr said the investigation is ongoing.

Multiple Windows Shattered by BB Guns, Maplewood and Richmond Heights Police Say

Police in both cities report car windows damaged by BB guns, and ask for any information that could lead to an arrest.

The police departments in both Maplewood and Richmond Heights have recently reported windows being damaged by a BB gun. In Maplewood, police reported a vehicle window shattered by a shot from a BB gun on Jan. 25 in the 7500 block of West Bruno Avenue. Multiple vehicle windows were damaged the same way in the evening of Jan. 20 in the 2500 block of Valley Avenue. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call Maplewood police at 314-645-3000 or the anonymous tip line at 314-781-3733. In Richmond Heights, there have been numerous incidents of car and house windows being damaged by BB guns, police report. The damage has been mostly in Council Districts 1 & 2 (see map). An employee at Hollister also was arrested on suspicion of stealing $700 from the cash register, Richmond Heights Police say.

Richmond Heights Police: $957 Worth of Jeans Stolen from Galleria Store

Also, $526 worth of clothing taken from the Rally House.

There is no mistake in the headline. The article states that the $957 theft came from True Religion in the Galleria, and $526 of clothing was taken from Rally House, across the street.   more ›
