Windows in Maplewood and Richmond Heights have been hit recently.
Police in Maplewood and Richmond Heights have decided to beef up nighttime patrols after vandals with BB guns have shot at several homes and cars, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. As Patch reported earlier this week, Maplewood and Richmond Heights police departments have recently reported windows being damaged by a BB gun. In Maplewood, police reported a vehicle window shattered by a shot from a BB gun on Jan. 25 in the 7500 block of West Bruno Avenue. Multiple vehicle windows were damaged the same way in the evening of Jan. 20 in the 2500 block of Valley Avenue. A Maplewood man faces criminal charges after Richmond Heights Police said he took keys from a man near SSM St. Mary’s Health Center and stole his car. He also is accused of stealing another car in Richmond Heights in May. Jarvis McAlister, 21, of the 7700 block of Rannells Avenue in Maplewood, was charged Tuesday with second-degree robbery and two counts of stealing a car. Richmond Heights Police said that McAlister took keys from a man about 12:10 a.m. Aug. 12 at 1115 Bellevue Avenue, near SSM St. Mary’s. He then stole the man’s 2012 Chevrolet Impala, according to the police report. Police said McAlister also stole a 2012 Ford Fiesta between 11:30 p.m. May 3 and 10:15 a.m. May 4 in the 2100 block of Bellevue Avenue. McAlister is being …

Jack, of course I think Patch should report crimes, that's all part of being a news source. I simply meant it felt as if that was all that was being headlined. For a stretch there I felt as if everyday I had an email with a crime as the title. I do think Patch should report any and all crimes they can.
