New Chinese Buffet Opens Next to AMC Esquire 7

The manager is 23 and grew up in the BBQ ribs business.

  Now only two weeks old, Dynasty Hibachi Sushi Seafood Buffet’s business is growing daily, manager Jon Roper said. The new 330-seat restaurant is between the AMC Esquire 7 and Applebee’s. Roper is 23 and said he grew up in the business. His parents own Roper’s Ribs, in Jennings. The owner of Dynasty also owns China King, in University City. Dynasty is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. At any given time there are approximately 70 items in the buffet. For lunch, ($7.99) Roper said there can be mixed vegetables, Chinese broccoli, stuffed mushrooms, coconut shrimp, honey chicken, sushi (made fresh daily), eel, salmon, shrimp tempura, California roll, caterpillar roll and tuna. Wood-Fired Pizzas, Pastas, Meatballs at Cheshire Inn Restaurant

The basement restaurant at the Cheshire Inn will have 32 beers on draft.

Three restaurants will eventually be serving at the newly reopened Cheshire Inn. The first to open was the Restaurant, about a month ago. Basso, in the basement, will open on Monday, Dec. 17, and was reviewed in the Riverfront Times. The restaurant's name, Basso, translates to "low" or "under" in Italian, a nod to its location beneath the Restaurant at the Cheshire. Menu options at Basso include Italian staples like carpaccio salad, wood-fired pizzas, pastas, meatballs and bruschetta to more general American fare such as pork chops and burgers. Ultimate Bride Moves to Richmond Heights

The Ultimate Bride's new store on Big Bend Boulevard opened earlier this summer.

The Ultimate Bride bridal shop moved to Richmond Heights at 1115 S. Big Bend Boulevard after its previous location at 1512 S. Brentwood Boulevard became part of the development for a Drury Hotel. Store Manager Hope Ciuffa said the new site is a much bigger space and benefits from being right next door to a popular nail salon, Beautiful Nails. The business opened its doors May 23 after nearly nine months of work to rehab the building inside and out, which Ciuffa said had previously been home to a Walgreens and a hardware store.  The decor and layout is an upgrade from the previous location, according to Ciuffa. She said it allows them plenty of space to feature their selection of wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses, which can be purchased …
