GO! St. Louis Announces Entry Fee Increase for April Event
On Jan. 1, entry fees for the annual two-day GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend will increase by $10 to $20, but there's still time to register online.
A local not-for-profit organization presenting fitness events and programs will raise its entry fees for its 12th Annual GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend. The two-day fitness event will run on April 14 and 15. Organizers say it attracts more than 25,000 participants each year and is the largest competitive fitness event in the state, offering races for people of all ages and fitness levels. Why the increase? Beginning Jan. 1, entry fees will increase $10 to $20, said Jeff Trammel, GO! St. Louis public relations representative. “Just to clarify on the entry fee increase, we opened registration on Sept. 1 with a set of entry fee prices,” Trammel said. “As we draw closer to the event the prices increase.” He noted that entry …
