Brentwood Police said the man tried to leave without paying for the item and shoved a loss prevention officer to get away.
A man and woman face robbery charges after a shoplifting attempt at the Target store in the Promenade. Randell Warren, 46, of the 4600 block of Greer Avenue, and Shanaya Edwards, 28, of the 4500 block of Alice Avenue, were charged Friday with second-degree robbery. Both live in the city of St. Louis. Brentwood Police said Warren took a Nintendo 3DS off the shelf at Target and began leaving the store without paying for the item when he was confronted by a loss prevention officer at the door. Police said Warren pushed the guard three times. The third time he pushed the guard, the officer fell into a second loss prevention officer, and both had minor injuries, according to a court document. Warren ran outside to a car where Edwards was …
