Folks stayed home or were careful drivers on the snowy day.
Both Maplewood and Brentwood police departments said Monday morning that snowy Sunday was accident-free. Many in the area received up to 12 inches of snow. "I don't see any accidents reported for March 24," Maplewood Police Sgt. Matt Nighbor said, when he pulled up the records for Sunday. "I guess people heeded the advice and stayed off the roads." Brentwood dispatcher Jason Oesterreicher had the same good news. "The last couple days have been extremely quiet," Oesterreicher said. Did you brave the snowy roads? Were your neighborhood streets kept plowed?

The rain is expected to mix with and change over to snow late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Snow, heavy at times, should …
